Automotive New/Used Car Sales Porter (Merrillville)

• RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Oversee vehicle delivery process as first priority, managing delivery board & gas slips


• Gas new or used vehicles


• Clean, vacuum, wash, wax vehicles & tires as needed


• Communicate with service department to request oil changes when necessary or  recommend minor vehicle repairs


• Check for damage when vehicle is given to you from service


• Perform minor vehicle repairs as needed 


• Assist with lot + showroom organization & vehicle inventory management


• Assist with new car check in's & inspections/dealer trade in's


• Assist in snow removal on lot & for vehicles

REQUIREMENTS:

• Friendly and customer service focused


• Reliable


• Able to multi-task and work under pressure


• Able to walk and stand for long periods of time as well as work outside


• Able to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles


• Have basic computer knowledge


• Customer Service experience is preferred


• Professional appearance is necessary


• Valid driver’s license is required
