Job Description - Automotive Parts Advisor - Hyundai


 

Location: Tacoma, WA
Job Type: Full-time
Reports To: Parts Manager
Salary: $52,000 - $53,000 annually

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the Parts Manager with the daily operations of our Hyundai parts department
  • Accurately identify, source, and supply Hyundai Genuine Parts and accessories
  • Assist retail customers and service technicians with professionalism and product knowledge
  • Manage inventory levels, stock organization, and parts ordering
  • Ensure all parts meet Hyundai’s quality standards before distribution
  • Stay informed on new Hyundai products, accessories, and technical updates
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace that reflects Hyundai's high standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior experience as a Parts Advisor or in an automotive parts role preferred
  • Familiarity with Hyundai parts or other manufacturer parts catalogs is a plus
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment
  • Experience with dealership management systems (DMS) is advantageous

Time Off & Holidays

Paid Time Off (PTO):

                           3–10 years: 1.53 hours per 40 hours worked

                           10+ years: 2.30 hours per 40 hours worked

Requirements

 

  • Parts experience a plus
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds. 
  • Retail experience
  • Proficient with computers and inventory management software 
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds. 
  • Current and valid Driver License
