Automotive Parts Assistant

Sioux Falls Ford Lincoln is looking for an energetic and outgoing Automotive Parts Assistant to join our growing team. Our management teams are supportive and very experienced in business growth to provide you with the training and support you'll need for a forward-moving long-term career.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily parts inventory ordering.
• Work with the Service Department to ensure timely turn-around of parts needed for internal jobs.
• Assist with the shipping and receiving efforts to ensure timely processing.
• Assist in ensuring that all purchases are properly accounted for before payment is made.
• Understand and use new systems or processes implemented by the manufacturers or dealerships.
• Analyze turnover rate and inventory levels.
• Fast paced, friendly work environment
• Prioritize work to ensure that deadlines are met.

Work Conditions and Physical Demands

• May experience moderate noise levels throughout the day.
• Occasionally may walk up and down stairs.
• Attendance is an essential function of this job.
• This position sometimes requires sitting at a desk utilizing a computer and monitor as well as frequent use of tablets and mobile devices.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
