Automotive Parts Associate

We're looking for an energized automotive professional with knowledge of parts ordering to join our team in Long Island City, New York! As an Auto Parts Associate, you will report to the Shop Manager and be responsible for the receipt, verification, labeling, storage, and documentation of auto parts and supplies at our repair facility. 

What you’ll do

• Maintain a clean and orderly parts room


• Ensure accuracy and reliability of data entered into inventory system


• Order stock and special parts for repair orders according to internal process


• Maintain relationships with parts vendors


• Manage the returns of all parts to vendors


• Assist with entering repair orders on behalf of our service team


• Assist with garage facility refuse and supply needs


• Aid mechanics in diagnostics in connection with parts 

What we look for

• Ability to lift and move 50 lbs and sustain activity for extended periods of time


• High school diploma or GED equivalent


• 1+ years of experience working in auto parts or inventory


• Toyota and or Tesla experience a plus


• High level of computer proficiency


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation range: $20-$25/hr
