Position Overview

• Role: Parts Counterman


• Location: Lexus of Winter Park


• Department: Parts & Service


• Focus: Exceptional guest support, accurate parts fulfillment, inventory integrity, and technician productivity

Key Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to customers and technicians


• Identify, source, and recommend appropriate parts for customer and repair needs


• Maintain accurate back-order files and follow-up communication


• Check in, tag, store, and organize incoming parts shipments


• Maintain warranty parts inventory and complete scraping paperwork as required


• Manage special orders and notify customers upon arrival


• Accurately post parts to repair orders and update inventory records


• Verify stock receipts and assist with annual inventory audits


• Keep work environment clean, organized, and aligned with Lexus brand standards


• Represent the dealership professionally through dress, communication, and attitude


• Perform other duties as assigned by Parts Management

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years automotive dealership experience required


• Previous Parts Counter / Parts Specialist experience preferred


• Strong communication and customer service skills


• Ability to work efficiently in a structured business environment


• High attention to detail with strong organizational habits


• Positive team-oriented attitude and commitment to excellence
