Sanderson Ford in Glendale, AZ is hiring an Automotive Parts Dispatcher to lead day-to-day delivery operations across our parts department. This is a supervisory role responsible for directing drivers, managing the dispatch schedule, and making real-time decisions as conditions shift. The right candidate brings 3–5 years of dispatch experience, a clear communication style, and the judgment to hold people accountable without pushing them out the door.

What You'll Do
- Direct drivers on daily routes, delivery sequences, and schedule adjustments as conditions change throughout the shift
- Monitor active deliveries from dispatch through confirmation, intervening early when delays or issues surface
- Communicate with drivers to relay updates, resolve problems, and keep runs on schedule
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to align shipment priorities with inventory levels and customer timelines
- Manage dispatch software to track routes, record delivery data, and maintain accurate logs and reports
- Hold the team to company standards on safety, compliance, and service quality while keeping morale intact
- Respond to customer inquiries about delivery status and resolve issues before they escalate
- Identify gaps in routing, scheduling, or communication workflows and recommend improvements
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of dispatch experience in the automotive industry or a closely related field required
- Proven ability to lead people under pressure: directing employees, making real-time decisions, and adjusting when conditions change mid-shift
- A firm but fair management approach that holds people to clear standards while keeping good employees engaged and on the team
- Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
- Knowledge of automotive parts and delivery logistics a plus
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
