    Coast Mazda is seeking an experienced and dedicated Automotive Parts Manager to join our team in Port Richey, FL. This key role involves overseeing the parts department to ensure efficient operation, optimal inventory management, and outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our service department and maintaining strong supplier relationships to keep our dealership running smoothly.




     


    Key Responsibilities




    Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiate pricing and delivery schedules, and ensure timely procurement of parts. Track outstanding orders, backorders, and credits to maintain smooth operations. 
     



    Responsibilities



    • Manage and oversee all aspects of the parts department including inventory control, ordering, and stocking.

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery.

    • Monitor parts sales and implement strategies to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction.

    • Collaborate closely with service and sales departments to support their parts needs and streamline workflow.

    • Train, mentor, and supervise parts department staff to maintain high performance and professional standards.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

    • Prepare weekly reports on parts inventory, sales, and department performance for senior management.


    Requirements



    • Proven experience as an Automotive Parts Manager (Mazda preferred but not necessary) or in a similar role within the automotive industry.

    • Strong knowledge of automotive parts, inventory management, and supply chain processes.

    • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    • Proficient with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications related to automotive parts management are a plus.
