Automotive Parts Shipping & Receiving

Sioux Falls Ford Lincoln is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. We are looking for a person who can perform efficiently in a warehouse environment by handling incoming and outgoing deliveries. This individual is responsible for organizing new shipments and making sure parts and various items get to the right department and employees.

Essential Duties include but not limited to:

• Received all deliveries, verifying bills of lading against pieces received.


• Distributes and locates parts into bins for collection.


• Distributes special parts orders to the departments that have ordered them.


• Receipts and shelves all stock orders or returns inventory system.


• Scraps all authorized replaced warranty parts on a monthly basis.


• Cleans and restocks shipping and receiving area


• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers

Job Requirements:

• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal and phone etiquette skills


• Basic math skills


• Ability to read and comprehend instruction / information


• A positive attitude, exceptional work ethic and willingness to learn


• Computer literacy with proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications


• Forklift experience a plus but not required


• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to successfully pass a background check
