Volvo Santa Monica is seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Automotive Product Specialist to join our dealership team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in vehicles and technology, and wants to grow within the automotive industry.

We welcome candidates with previous dealership experience, including Dealership Coordinators, Sales Assistants, Product Specialists, Customer Service Representatives, and Automotive Sales Professionals. Dealership experience is a plus, but candidates with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

In this role, you will help customers explore Volvo vehicles, learn about vehicle features and technology, and enjoy a smooth, professional dealership experience.

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION

• $20–$22 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Thursday through Monday

Days Off: Tuesday and Wednesday

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome customers and assist with their dealership experience.
  
• Introduce customers to Volvo models, features, technology, and available options.
  
• Conduct vehicle walkarounds and product demonstrations.
  
• Answer customer questions and help them understand vehicle capabilities.
  
• Support the sales team throughout the customer journey.
  
• Assist with vehicle preparation, inventory organization, and showroom presentation.
  
• Help coordinate customer appointments, vehicle demonstrations, and deliveries.
  
• Maintain accurate customer information and follow-up records in dealership CRM systems.
  
• Communicate professionally with customers and dealership team members.
  
• Stay current on Volvo products, features, and new vehicle technology.
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Dealership experience preferred, but not required.
  
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
  
• Comfortable demonstrating vehicle features, technology, controls, and functions to customers.
  
• Able to explain technical information clearly and patiently to customers with varying levels of automotive knowledge.
  
• Professional, personable, and confident when working directly with customers.
  
• Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new vehicle technology, infotainment systems, and driver-assistance features.
  
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring customers understand their vehicle before driving off the lot.
  
• Organized and dependable, with the ability to coordinate vehicle deliveries and manage multiple priorities.
  
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, technology support, or product demonstrations is a plus.
  
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  
• Willingness to learn Volvo models, features, and delivery procedures.
