Job Description

Cloninger Ford of Hickory is looking for skilled and motivated Quick Lane Technicians to join our growing service team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a passion for maintaining and servicing vehicles efficiently and accurately. This role focuses on light maintenance and repair work that helps keep our customers’ vehicles running at their best.

Responsibilities

  Perform basic maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, and fluid checks

  Conduct multi-point inspections and communicate findings clearly to the service team

  
  


• 
  

  Follow all dealership and manufacturer repair standards

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

  
  


• 
  

  Work efficiently to complete service tasks with accuracy and attention to detail

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate effectively with Service Advisors about vehicle needs and repair timelines

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  1+ year of automotive service or Quick Lane experience preferred

  
  


• 
  

  High school diploma or equivalent required

  
  


• 
  

  Basic mechanical knowledge and eagerness to learn

  
  


• 
  

  Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  
  


• 
  

  Team-oriented with strong communication skills

  
  


• 
  

  Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
