About the Position


The Reassembly Technician plays a critical role in the repair process by ensuring vehicles are accurately and safely reassembled following repairs. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality results while maintaining efficiency and supporting overall shop productivity.


Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM Reports To: Collision Center Manager Compensation/Benefits: Competitive pay based on experience; 401(k) with company match; medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off (PTO); paid holidays; continuing education opportunities


Primary Job Functions



  • Vehicle Reassembly: Perform accurate reassembly of vehicles, including installation of panels, trim, lights, and interior components

  • Fit & Finish: Ensure proper alignment, fitment, and overall quality of all components

  • Quality Inspection: Conduct final checks to verify repairs meet company quality standards

  • Electrical Reconnection: Reconnect and verify operation of vehicle electrical components and systems

  • Supplement Identification: Identify and communicate additional damage or missing parts

  • Repair Plan Adherence: Follow repair plans and procedures to ensure safe and proper reassembly

  • Efficiency & Productivity: Complete work in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards

  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members on repair status and issues

  • Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor(s)


Minimum Requirements



  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience reassembling vehicles in a fast-paced collison repair environment

  • Strong understanding of vehicle components, repair processes, and reassembly procedures

  • Must have a personal set of tools required to efficiently perform reassembly tasks

  • Ability to read and follow repair plans and work instructions

  • Familiarity with modern vehicle systems and technology preferred

  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

Physical Requirements



  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds

  • Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching

  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate tools and equipment

  • Ability to work in an environment with exposure to noise, dust, and automotive-related materials

  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
