Automotive Sales Assistant

Landmark Automotive Group of Springfield, IL has been meeting the automotive retail sales and service needs in Central Illinois for over 50 years.  A local, family-owned business, Landmark Automotive Group offers a modern, safe work environment in which employees can grow and develop through experience and opportunities. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Automotive Sales Assistant to join our Landmark Chrysler-Jeep-Fiat, Inc. sales team.

Job Summary
As an Automotive Sales Assistant, you will play a vital support role in the sales process. You’ll assist sales consultants with client interactions, maintain vehicle inventory displays, follow up with leads, and ensure the overall smooth operation of the sales floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in the showroom and on the lot


• Support sales consultants during the sales process


• Prepare vehicles for customer test drives and deliveries


• Maintain and organize vehicle inventory and promotional displays


• Follow up with potential clients via phone, email, or SMS


• Assist with paperwork, documentation, and data entry into CRM systems


• Coordinate with service and detailing departments to prepare vehicles


• Ensure the showroom and lot are clean and well-presented


• Perform administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)


• Previous experience in customer service or retail (automotive experience is a plus)


• Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment


• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record


• Basic computer skills: experience with CRM software is a plus
