Automotive Sales Person

Shively Motors of Shippensburg is seeking a Professional Sales and Leasing Consultant who can learn quickly and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate for this position will have knowledge of all the models we sell and deliver high quality customer service that aligns perfectly with our customer’s needs. If you have a knack for sales and a passion for cars, we want to hear from you, even if you don’t have prior experience in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop an in-depth understanding of our current product line including preowned inventory and use that knowledge to assist customers with their purchase or lease.


• Work to grow our customer base by interacting with customers at our dealership and promoting yourself and our dealership at all times.


• Assist in lot presentation and showroom presentation to ensure vehicles are displayed well and are ready for sale.


• Have strong attention to detail to keep our customers satisfied and all paperwork done correctly.


• Maintain all follow up needed to be successful with our customer base and prospect for new customers.


• Complete all job-related training in a timely manner and maintain a Certified Status with Stellantis.

Qualifications and skills

• High school diploma/GED required


• Previous car sales experience 


• Excellent customer service skills


• Ability to navigate online websites and use computer programs


• 1+ years’ experience in retail sales preferred


• Ability to proactively build customer base through prospecting
