Location: Oakes GMC | Kansas City, MO
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Saturday - one weekday off
Compensation: $60,000 - $250,000 + annually based off performance
Oakes Auto Group is looking for driven and customer-focused Automotive Sales Associates to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and is motivated by performance and growth opportunities. You’ll work directly with customers, generate leads, and help create an exceptional dealership experience from first contact through delivery and follow-up.

Call, text, and email dealership-generated leads based on the customer’s preferred method of communication
Send professional video walkarounds and assist customers throughout the vehicle shopping and buying process
Build long-term relationships through strong follow-up, customer service, and communication
Create social media content and help generate additional customer leads
Maintain CSI and sold customer follow-up to support long-term customer retention
Work closely with Sales Managers and teammates to achieve dealership sales goals
Learn vehicle product knowledge, dealership systems, and sales processes
Bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and winning mindset every day
We are looking for motivated individuals who align with the Oakes core values, including service leadership, consistency, commitment to work, doing the right thing, and maintaining a winning attitude. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, communicates effectively, and stays energized in a high-paced sales environment.
Candidates who are coachable, competitive, professional, and committed to personal growth will thrive in this role. Previous customer service, sales, or automotive experience is preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
You do not need previous automotive sales experience — we can train the right person.

Previous customer service, sales, or automotive experience preferred but not required
