As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will help customers find the right vehicle for their needs while providing professional, knowledgeable, and friendly service throughout the buying process.
Responsibilities include:
Greet customers and assist them throughout the vehicle shopping and purchasing process.
Build relationships with customers to understand their automotive needs, preferences, and budgets.
Present new and pre-owned vehicles, explaining features, technology, safety equipment, and available options.
Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
Maintain knowledge of current vehicle inventory, manufacturer incentives, and dealership promotions.
Follow up with internet leads, phone inquiries, and showroom customers.
Utilize dealership CRM software to manage customer relationships, appointments, and sales opportunities.
Work with sales managers and finance professionals to provide customers with purchasing and financing options.
Negotiate and complete vehicle sales while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation.
Follow up with customers after their purchase to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Meet individual sales goals and contribute to overall dealership success.
Participate in ongoing product knowledge and automotive sales training.
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.

Preferred qualifications include:
Previous automotive sales experience is a plus, but not required.
Experience in retail sales, customer service, hospitality, or other customer-facing positions is welcome.

Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
