Job Description - Automotive Sales Manager

Bill Colwell Ford is looking for a driven Sales Manager with an automotive finance background to help grow our business, develop our people, and deliver an exceptional experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to achieve monthly and annual goals. 
  • Work closely with the business development team to maximize lead generation, appointment setting, and customer follow-up. 
  • Collaborate with all dealership departments—including Service, Parts, Finance, and BDC—to ensure seamless operations and an exceptional customer experience. 
  • Oversee inventory management, pricing, and merchandising. 
  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer programs. 
  • Partner with the Finance team to review deals, structure financing options, and support customers in making informed purchase decisions. 
  • Build strong relationships with customers and foster a culture of trust and transparency.
     

What We’re Looking For

  • Automotive finance background required. 
  • Strong leadership potential with the ability to motivate and coach a team. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple departments. 
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving team success. 
  • Ability to adapt quickly and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
