Automotive Sales Manager: Inspire, Lead, Drive Results


Step into the driver’s seat of our sales team and take the lead in shaping a high-performing, customer-focused department. We’re seeking an Automotive Sales Manager with a proven track record of recruiting, coaching, and retaining top sales talent, while leveraging product knowledge, negotiation skills, and strategic vision to exceed sales goals consistently. Key Responsibilities:



  • Demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and accountability in every interaction, setting a high standard for the sales team.

  • Assemble a powerhouse team by attracting, selecting, and keeping standout sales consultants who embody our spirit of excellence.

  • Coach, motivate, and support consultants to help them reach their performance potential.

  • Drive ongoing product training to keep consultants confident and knowledgeable.

  • Monitor team metrics and implement strategies to achieve or surpass sales targets.

  • Partner with leadership on business planning, inventory, and customer experience initiatives.


Qualifications:



  • Proven success in automotive sales management with demonstrated leadership and staff development expertise.

  • Skilled at recruiting, training, and retaining high-performing sales consultants who consistently exceed goals.

  • Experienced with CRM systems; familiarity with Reynolds & Reynolds is a plus.

  • Track record of driving sales growth through strategic coaching, technical expertise, and market insight.

  • Deep product knowledge with the ability to instill confidence and competence across the sales team.

  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills to inspire and guide staff.

  • Thrive in fast-paced, results-driven environments while delivering a top-tier customer experience.

  • Clean driving record required.
