Job Description - Automotive Sales Manager



Automotive Sales Manager | Puyallup, WA


 


Kia of Puyallup has been selling and servicing new, certified and pre-owned vehicles for more than 30 years and has provided multi-decade careers for many of our employees.  We have an immediate opening for an experienced and proven Sales Manager to join our award-winning team.

Responsibilities:



  • Engage, lead and motivate the sales team in a professional manner to achieve and exceed goals

  • Drive business forward by having a high-level of positive involvement in day-to-day sales operations and customer interactions

  • Manage the sales and negotiation process with Sales Consultants ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing

  • Appraising vehicles for trade-in or outright purchase

  • Assist in managing all areas of customer sales traffic: showroom, e-commerce and phones

  • Desk multiple new and used car deals, sometimes simultaneously

  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience that aligns with Kia and Kia of Puyallup’s values

  • Partnering with General Manager and/or General Sales Manager to plan and manage inventory, set monthly goals, forecast and overall strategize 

  • Recruit, hire and train Sales Consultants to create culture of continuous growth.


 


Qualifications:



  • Proven new car dealership Sales Manager experience with solid references

  • Strong coaching and leadership abilities

  • Proficiency with DMS and CRM systems

  • Proficient at operating a personal computer including Microsoft Office: Email, Excel and Word

  • Professional appearance and work ethic

  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends

  • Valid WA state drivers license
