Automotive Sales Porter

Primary Responsibilities:

The Automotive Sales Porter supports dealership operations by ensuring the lot, showroom, and vehicles are clean, organized, and ready for customers. This position is essential in helping the sales team maintain a professional and customer-ready environment, while also managing vehicle movement and assisting with various operational tasks.

• Move, park, and stage vehicles in the dealership lot and showroom.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of new and used vehicles (exterior and interior).
• Ensure all vehicles are properly tagged and have current window stickers.
• Organize vehicle inventory to maximize visibility and appeal.
• Assist with vehicle deliveries, including preparing sold vehicles for customer pick-up.
• Monitor lot condition and report any issues (e.g., flat tires, damage, misplaced keys).
• Keep customer parking areas and dealership grounds clean and organized.
• Assist with shuttle service or customer transportation when needed.
• Run errands or transport vehicles to other locations, auction sites, or service centers.
• Support the sales team with other tasks as requested.

Work Environment:

• Majority of work performed outdoors on the dealership lot.
• Exposure to various weather conditions and vehicle exhaust.
• Fast-paced, team-focused atmosphere. 

Key Skills and Qualifications::

• Experience preferred but not necessary
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation
• Professional in appearance.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs. and be on your feet for long periods.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High School diploma or GED Preferred
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Proficiency in driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Ability to pass a physical examination and drug test.
