Job Description - Automotive Sales -Sales Manager



Reynolds GM Subaru is hiring! We are your local, family-owned and operated dealership. Starting in 1938, we’ve been in business for 4 generations. We’ve continued to grow, and have held true to our family values that set us apart. As the Sales Manager, you will play a key leadership role in our dealership’s success. You’ll oversee the sales floor, support our team with desk deals, manage dealer trades, and assist with finance-related duties. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to customer satisfaction and team development. You’ll be a driving force in maintaining our high standards and helping our dealership continue to grow. We’re excited to talk to you, so we invite you to apply below!

 RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead and support the sales team to meet and exceed monthly goals


• Desk deals and assist sales staff with structuring transactions


• Oversee dealer trades and inventory coordination


• Collaborate with the finance department to ensure smooth deal flow


• Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction


• Monitor and report on sales performance metrics


• Train, coach, and motivate sales staff


• Ensure compliance with dealership policies and procedures


• Assist with hiring and onboarding of new sales team members


• Other duties as assigned


 


QUALIFICATIONS: • Previous dealership Sales Manager or Finance Manager experience preferred


• Strong leadership and team-building skills


• Ability to desk deals and understand finance structures


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through


• Ability to work independently and proactively


• Comfortable with dealership software and reporting tools


• Commitment to business growth and daily development
