Automotive Sales/Finance Manager

Carlisle Cadillac Buick GMC in Carlisle, PA is looking for an experienced Automotive Sales/Finance Manager to effectively lead our sales team and also present financing options and opportunities to our car buyers.  This is a hybrid position and will consist of both Sales and Finance Manager duties.  If you’re ready to help our team continue its track record of success, apply today! 

***Candidate must have previous automotive dealership experience.  

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help connect the sales process 


• Build rapport with customers to establish a base of referrals and customer network 


• Set an example of professionalism through daily actions creating a positive working environment and sales culture 


• Achieve objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing data on past performance, and projecting future performance 


• Motivate, train, and support the sales staff to achieve growth and hit sales targets 


• Forecast inventory needs and purchases vehicles for the inventory from auction and off-lease returns 


• Be ethical and transparent in leading operations 


• Establish and reach monthly finance and insurance manager goals for automotive sales, service contracts, customer service, and other key benchmarks


• Assess whether car buyers need financing and payment options before presenting them with appropriate auto finance plans


• Maintain the highest ethical standards serving as a finance director and/or manager who is committed to a high customer satisfaction index (CSI)


• Support the auto sales manager during each vehicle purchase and leverage opportunities to offer aftermarket products, service contracts, and insurance programs


• Abide by federal, state, and local regulations when preparing paperwork, finalizing financial transactions, setting interest rates, and working with lending institutions


• Manage inventory of finance department supplies, including bank, state, and auto dealership forms


• Process and maintain the funding of contracts in a timely manner


• Issue and complete all DMV tag and title paper work for each transaction


• Work directly with the GM and Controller for funding delays

Qualifications:

• Requires a high school diploma, a bachelor’s degree in finance or related discipline strongly preferred


• At least two years of dealership finance and insurance (F&I) manager or sales experience is required


• Valid state-issued driver's license and satisfactory driving record mandatory


• Must have strong communication skills, a commitment to customer satisfaction, and the innate ability to build rapport with customers


• Basic MS Office knowledge and computer software proficiency needed
