Automotive Service Advisor

Middletown Honda is looking to add a Service Advisor to our team! As a Service Advisor, you will own our customer’s experience in the service lane. You are the first point of contact with our customers and will be well-versed in product offerings, inventory needs, technician scheduling and customer service. 

Responsibilities

• Oversee flow of the service lane


• Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service


• Obtain both customer and vehicle information


• Clearly and accurately report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer


• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled


• Determine and recommend needed maintenance based on asge, mileage, and the history of the customers vehicle


• Distribute work between technicians efficiently


• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of the cost for labor and parts


• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, as well as updating customers frequently 


• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a service advisory role


• Honda experience is a plus!


• Organized and friendly personality


• Demonstrated ability to manage others


• Time management skills


• Fantastic communication skills with your customers


• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance


• Clean driving record
