Currently, we are looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor with at least ten years of experience in the field and proficiency in the use of Mitchell-1 software. We are seeking someone who has a strong teamwork mindset and an excellent attendance record.
As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for:
· Greeting customers in a timely and friendly manner.
· Handling customer complaints.
· Gathering information about their vehicles, scheduling service appointments, explaining the work to be performed, and providing the associated repair costs to the customer.
· Preparing a repair order that clearly outlines the time, cost, and labor estimates for the service and providing a complete and accurate written cost estimate for both labor and parts.
· Checking the progress of repairs throughout the day.
· Contacting customers regarding any changes in the estimate.
· Providing a detailed explanation of cost and time requirements and obtaining proper authorization
before performing any additional repairs.
· Reviewing repair orders to ensure that work is completed, and additional work and authorization are correctly noted.
· Closing repair orders as appropriate.
· Implementing a quality control process to eliminate comebacks.
· Handling telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in progress.
