Job Description

Eby Ford is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our service department. This role is critical in delivering a smooth and transparent service experience for our customers. The right candidate will be professional, detail-oriented, and eager to provide exceptional customer care from check-in to vehicle delivery.

Responsibilities

  Greet customers promptly and courteously

  
  


• 
  

  Obtain vehicle and customer information accurately

  
  


• 
  

  Listen to customer concerns and clearly report all symptoms

  
  


• 
  

  Recommend appropriate maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and service history

  
  


• 
  

  Provide accurate estimates for labor and parts

  
  


• 
  

  Set up appointments, establish follow-up times, and maintain clear communication with customers

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate loaner vehicles and verify insurance when needed

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor the status of each vehicle and update customers throughout the day

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure final invoices match the services performed and explain all work and charges

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with technicians and parts staff to ensure a seamless repair process

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Minimum of 1 year experience in a service department

  
  


• 
  

  High school diploma or equivalent

  
  


• 
  

  Previous experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager, or service consultant

  
  


• 
  

  Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus

  
  


• 
  

  Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to quickly identify problems and recommend solutions

  
  


• 
  

  Proven track record of exceptional customer satisfaction

  
  


• 
  

  Positive, friendly attitude with an energetic personality

  Willingness to learn new technologies and service procedures

  Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
