Job Description 

Buster Miles Ford is seeking a personable and detail-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing service department. In this role, you’ll act as the bridge between customers and technicians, ensuring vehicle service needs are understood, documented, and delivered with accuracy and professionalism. If you enjoy helping people, have automotive knowledge, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is a great opportunity for you. 

Responsibilities 

Greet customers promptly and professionally, listening to their concerns and documenting vehicle needs. 

Prepare accurate repair orders and cost estimates for maintenance and repair services. Clearly explain recommended services and repair work to customers in a way that builds trust. 

Communicate consistently with technicians to ensure timely and accurate service completion. 

Provide regular updates to customers throughout the repair process. 

Schedule service appointments and manage shop workflow efficiently. Ensure warranty and service contract documentation is completed properly. Follow dealership and manufacturer procedures at all times. 

Qualifications

Previous service advisor or automotive customer service experience required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset. Ability to multitask in a busy service environment. 

Basic automotive knowledge required; Ford dealership experience a plus. Proficiency with computer systems and dealership software. 

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. 

High school diploma or equivalent.
