The Service Advisor is the key liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring high-quality automotive service and repairs. This position emphasizes both sales and customer service, requiring collaborative teamwork to drive business growth while maintaining excellent customer relationships.

Job Responsibilities:
- Address customer concerns by listening to description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules
- Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions
- Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles
- Prepares repair orders (ROs) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system
- Communication liaison between the customer and the technician
- Maintains customer rapport by explaining and prioritizing needed vehicle repairs and maintenance; managing customer’s expectations; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact information (phone numbers, addresses, email addresses); answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation
- Maintains automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Requirements:
- Service Advisors must have previous automotive Service Advisor experience
- Require strong verbal and written communications skills
- Required to be produce high sales levels, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Ability to understand and keep abreast of the federal, state, and local regulations that affect their operations
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Must consent to and pass a drug/background screen
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiasm, strong communication skills, positive attitude, ambition, work ethic, professional conduct, high integrity, and dedication to personal improvement

- Ability to work evenings until 9:00 PM
