Job Description - Automotive Service Advisor



Join Kayser Chrysler Center of Watertown as an Automotive Service Advisor and become a vital part of our award-winning service department. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact between our customers and the service team, ensuring an exceptional customer experience through clear communication, expert advice, and efficient service scheduling. You will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction by assisting clients with their automotive service needs and helping to coordinate repairs and maintenance.


Responsibilities



  • Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival and provide outstanding customer service throughout their visit.

  • Assess customers’ automotive service needs, explain recommended services, and provide accurate estimates.

  • Schedule and coordinate service appointments with the technicians to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle status, service timelines, and any updates or changes.

  • Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and service transactions.

  • Work closely with the service team to ensure that vehicles are serviced promptly and to the highest standards.

  • Promote additional services and products to enhance the overall customer experience and service department revenue.


Requirements



  • Previous experience in an automotive service advisory or customer service role preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.

  • Basic knowledge of automotive systems and service procedures is an advantage.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
