Automotive Service Manager

Haddad Subaru of St. Albans is seeking a dedicated and experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the service operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient workflow, and a motivated team. You will be the key point of contact between customers, technicians, and management, driving performance and maintaining high standards while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily service department operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.


• Supervise and support service technicians, advisors, and support staff.


• Monitor and improve customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.


• Maintain accurate records of service orders, parts inventory, and labor hours.


• Prepare and manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and track department profitability.


• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company regulations.


• Develop and implement training programs to enhance team performance and technical skills.


• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall customer experience and business success.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Manager or in a similar role.


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.


• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.


• In-depth knowledge of automotive repair processes, diagnostics, and parts management.


• Familiarity with service management software and business operations.


• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.


• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant degrees are a plus.


• Must be located in or willing to relocate to St. Albans, VT.

• Competitive salary ranging from $110,000.00 to $160,000.00 per year, paid weekly based on experience.
