Automotive Service Manager- Honda North- ICL Autos

Honda North, an International Cars, Ltd., Inc. Company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee our service department and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment. This role is crucial in managing service operations, enhancing team performance, and driving sales while maintaining exceptional customer service standards

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.


• Supervise and mentor service technicians, providing guidance on automotive diagnostics, repair processes, and best practices.


• Oversee auto estimating processes to ensure accurate pricing and timely completion of services.


• Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, provide recommendations for vehicle maintenance and repairs, and address any concerns.


• Maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and exceptional service writing skills.


• Monitor performance metrics to evaluate team productivity and implement strategies for improvement.


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the service department.


• Assist in aligning departmental goals with overall business objectives to drive sales growth.

Requirements:

• Previous management or supervisory experience is required


• Proven experience in automotive diagnostics and repair is essential


• Strong background in customer service with the ability to handle inquiries professionally.


• Experience in sales within the automotive industry is desirable.


• Proficiency in using automotive software for estimating and service management.


• Must have a valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record acceptable to ICL Insurance Company requirements
