Automotive Service Porter

Job Summary:
The Automotive Service Porter at Keffer Mazda will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining the cleanliness of the service department and vehicles at our dealership in Huntersville, North Carolina. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry and will report to the Service Manager. The Automotive Service Porter will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and efficient experience for our customers.

Compensation & Benefits:
The Automotive Service Porter will receive a competitive hourly wage of $12 to $15, paid biweekly. In addition, our company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth and development.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers as they arrive at the service department
- Retrieve and park customer vehicles in designated areas
- Keep the service department and waiting areas clean and organized
- Maintain the cleanliness of customer vehicles before, during, and after service appointments
- Transport customers to and from their destinations if necessary
- Assist with answering phone calls and directing customers to the appropriate department or personnel
- Monitor inventory and stock supplies for the service department
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while handling customer vehicles
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service and strive to exceed customer expectations

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic automotive maintenance and repair a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
