Automotive Service Porter

Zeigler Ford of North Riverside is seeking a dependable and motivated Automotive Service Porter to support the daily operations of our busy service department. This position plays an essential role in maintaining efficient vehicle flow, assisting customers, and ensuring the service drive remains clean, organized, and safe.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Safely move customer vehicles between the service drive, service shop, and parking areas

  
  


• 
  

  Greet customers and provide assistance upon arrival

  
  


• 
  

  Support service advisors and technicians with daily operational needs

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service lane, drive, and customer waiting areas

  
  


• 
  

  Shuttle vehicles as needed and perform light driving duties

  
  


• 
  

  Keep vehicle keys and inventory properly organized

  
  


• 
  

  Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with general service department support tasks as assigned

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  Reliable attendance and strong punctuality

  Ability to safely operate various vehicle types, including cars, trucks, and SUVs

  Strong communication and customer service skills

  Ability to work independently while following instructions
