Automotive Service Technician

Jones Family of Dealerships is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our GMC team in Lancaster, PA! In this hands-on role, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of automotive and light truck systems—from engines and brakes to electrical components and more.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid driver’s license


• PA Safety Inspection & Emissions licenses


• Automotive repair experience (Diesel expertise is a plus)


• Familiarity with shop tools and basic computer skills


• EV repair experience is a bonus, but not required


• Vocational/technical certifications are a plus

What You’ll Do:

• Perform preventive maintenance and warranty repairs efficiently


• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, HVAC, brakes, and suspension systems


• Keep your workspace clean and follow all safety protocols


• Conduct test drives, oil changes, battery checks, and trade-in evaluations


• Inspect and recondition new vehicles for delivery
