Automotive Service Technician

Job Summary:

North Knox CDJR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, demonstrating expertise in various systems and components. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality service while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills. Pay is based on experience and is Flat Rate. 

 Fully heated and cooled shop!

Duties

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on automotive electrical systems, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and powertrain components.


• Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.


• Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify problems accurately.


• Execute welding tasks as necessary for repairs or modifications.


• Provide auto estimating services to assist customers in understanding repair costs.


• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.


• Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair processes.


• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality outcomes.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, with a solid understanding of automotive systems.


• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and equipment.


• Experience working with ADAS technology is a plus.


• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and powertrain components.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour - depending on experience, certifications and work completed
