Automotive Service Technician

The estimated salary for this role is $50,000-$120,000 annually

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.


• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.


• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.


• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional services needed and provide estimates of time required for repairs.


• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of Service Technician experience preferred.


• High school diploma or equivalent.


• B-level qualifications, including expertise in diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair.


• Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination.


• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.


• Outstanding customer service skills and basic computer proficiency.


• Positive, friendly attitude with a strong desire to learn and improve.


• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.


• Willingness to stay updated with new technology, repair procedures, and service specifications.


• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
