Day to day as an automotive Service Technician

As a Full Time Automotive Service Technician at Fox Subaru, you can expect a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same. Your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing vehicle issues, performing repairs and maintenance, and providing exceptional service to customers. You'll work closely with experienced team members, learning the ins and outs of various Subaru models while utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and technologies. Your schedule will run from Monday to Saturday, allowing you to enjoy a day off during the week.

Each day, you'll engage in a mix of hands-on tasks, from oil changes to complex repairs, ensuring that every vehicle meets our high standards of excellence. To be successful as a Full Time Automotive Service Technician at Fox Subaru, you'll need a combination of hands-on skills and technical knowledge. A minimum of one year of related experience and/or training is essential, or an equivalent blend of education and experience. Familiarity with automotive repair software and diagnostic tools will set you apart and streamline your work process.

While Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications are preferred, they are not mandatory; what matters most is your willingness to learn and grow in this role. A valid driver's license is also required, as you will be responsible for test driving vehicles and ensuring they meet our safety standards. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills will enable you to collaborate seamlessly with your team and deliver top-notch service to our customers.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• One-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
