Description of the role:

We are currently seeking skilled Automotive Service Technicians of all levels to join our team at Krause Auto Group in Charleston, South Carolina. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements


• Inspecting vehicle parts and systems to identify any issues or malfunctions


• Diagnosing and repairing vehicle problems in an efficient and timely manner


• Utilizing diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues


• Providing recommendations for necessary repairs and maintenance


• Following all safety protocols and guidelines


• Keeping track of all service records and documentation

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent


• Completion of an automotive technology program is preferred


• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician


• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components


• Excellent problem-solving skills


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Excellent communication and customer service skills


• Valid driver's license


• ASE certifications are a plus
