• Compensation: $25 - $40 flat rate with tier bonus programs weekly

Automotive Service Technician/Mechanic Responsibilities: 

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency in accordance with industry and  dealership standards and in a highly professional timely manner


• Test drive vehicles, and accurately test components and systems using specific diagnostic tools and specialty electronic service equipment


• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems and computer modules


• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional maintenance or service recommendations are recommended


• Provide estimates of projected time in accordance of job time guides for additional repairs and discuss future repairs that may evolve after inspecting vehicles.


• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications with detailed description and proper documentation and coding

Automotive Service Technician/Mechanic Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician


• General Motors(GM) experience is a huge plus


• State Inspection and Emissions licenses


• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance with high attention to detail


• Fast, eager learner and team player with good professional attitude  


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Strong customer service skills and intent to care for customer property


• Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems


• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment


• Responsible with customers vehicle and clean driving record with a valid driver’s license


• Attentive to surroundings and perceptive to any possible vehicle issues that may be detected
