We are looking for the best of the best shop foreman who can diagnose, repair, train and oversee our extremely busy Hyundai Service shop. Must have A-level skills and certifications. Prior Hyundai/Genesis or Kia experience is preferable, but will consider other OEM foreman experience.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 or more years of technical experience in the luxury automotive industry
- Managing the profitability of the Service Center to include job costing and estimations
- Managing and directing Shop employees
- Familiarity with luxury car servicing and restoration
- High standard of organization and time management
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well under pressure
- Effective peer relationships and ability to work as part of a team
- Exercise good judgment in engaging with customers
- Adjusting and tailoring style and approach to fit with the interests of the customer
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the administrative duties when required
- Handle technical-related calls to customers as needed
- Sign off on cars before departure and assist with invoicing
- Ensure estimates are correct and accurate
- Ensure all work is authorized according to O’GARA procedure and policy
- Develop rapport with existing and prospective customers
- Ensure a smooth and efficient workflow throughout the service center
- Regularly review and improve Shop processes to increase efficiency
- Ensure that Shop staff are aware of targets and deadlines to meet the needs of customers
- Ensure the orientation of new team members by familiarizing them with the requirements of their roles and expectations as well as the standards required for safe workplace practices
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to employees
- Evaluate the impact of work delays, interruptions or changes in plans to develop appropriate alternative courses of action for maximum productivity

Compensation: $180k-200k/ annually (Depending on experience)
