What You'll Own

• Manage journal entries, general ledger accuracy, and account reconciliations with precision
• Reconcile and post bank statements, monthly finance reserves, and GS statements
• Prepare for and respond to internal and external audit requests
• Process product cancellation refunds for customers and lienholders
• Accurately process lease buy-backs and dealer trades
• Review multiple dealership schedules monthly and make necessary corrections
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
• Cross-train in Accounts Receivable and Billing to provide backup coverage as needed
• Ensure accurate financial processing, timely reporting, and compliance with internal policies
• Take on additional responsibilities assigned by leadership as the role evolves

 What You Bring to the Table

• 3–5 years of automotive dealership accounting experience preferred — this is a must!
• Proven track record of successful accounting management in an automotive setting with references
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Reynolds & Reynolds experience strongly preferred
• Sharp analytical skills with an eagle eye for detail and financial accuracy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills — you keep everyone on the same page
• A self-starter mentality — you don't wait to be told twice
• Ability to juggle multiple deadlines without breaking a sweat
• Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
• Professional, dependable, and collaborative across all departments
