Automotive Support Specialist

GiveMeTheVIN.com is looking for an Automotive Support Specialist to manage vehicle repairs between our field buyers and third-party mechanic shops.

If you know automotive repair, can communicate with technicians, and are good at keeping multiple jobs moving at once, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance with outside repair shops


• Review mechanical concerns, estimates, and repair recommendations


• Obtain repair approvals and keep field buyers updated


• Schedule repairs and coordinate vehicle transportation when needed


• Follow up with shops to keep repairs moving and on schedule


• Verify completed repairs with our Mechanical Supervisor


• Process vendor invoices and maintain service records


• Maintain relationships and contact information for third-party repair vendors

What We're Looking For

• Automotive service advisor, service writer, technician, fleet, or similar experience


• Solid understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repairs


• Strong communication and follow-up skills


• Organized and able to juggle multiple vehicles and vendors


• HS Diploma/GED + 3 years related experience, related education/certification, or 5+ years related experience
