Starling Buick GMC of Stuart is on the lookout for a talented and dedicated Service Technician to join our awesome Buick GMC Dealer of the Year , Tier 1 team. As a Service Technician, you'll dive into a world of maintaining and fixing up new and pre-owned vehicles. This full-time in the auto industry is based in sunny Stuart, Florida. You, as a key team player, will rock at ensuring top-notch service and repairs for our customers' vehicles.

Your thrilling responsibilities include:

• Rocking routine maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, and filter swaps


• Diagnosing and fixing mechanical or electrical issues in vehicle systems


• Following the manufacturer's playbook and our dealership procedures for repairs and warranty work


• Chatting with service advisors and customers, explaining necessary repairs, and giving accurate time and cost estimates


• Keeping it all documented, from the work done to future maintenance suggestions


• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are in top shape


• Always learning and growing with training to stay on top of the latest vehicle tech and industry trends

What you'll need to bring to the table:

• A high school diploma or equivalent


• A minimum of 2 years rocking it as an automotive technician


• 
  ASE and GM certification is a bonus, but not a deal-breaker


• Know-how of automotive systems like engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical stuff


• Master at using diagnostic equipment and cracking those diagnostic codes


• A keen eye for detail and ninja problem-solving skills


• A valid driver's license and a squeaky-clean driving record


• Thriving in a fast-paced environment and juggling tasks like a pro
