Automotive Technician

Ettleson Cadillac Buick GMC is looking for an experienced Journeyman for our high traffic Service Department. 

Our Service business is booming and we need a Journeyman proficient in diagnosis and repair to complete our team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Complete safety inspection, oil change, remove and replace brakes, calipers and other maintenance on vehicles


• Inspect engine, transmission etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.


• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.


• Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability.


• Fill out all appropriate paperwork for service work completed for shop and customer service work completed.


• Problem solving ability and knowledge of mechanical software.


• Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users.


• Keep logs and reports on all issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified candidate must have valid ASE certification documentation or documented years of mechanical work experience or completion of apprenticeship program.


• 
  MUST have OWN tools.


• 
  MUST have VALID driver's license.


• Minimum 5 Years Preferred  General motors experience  will consider other makes.


• Have a strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines.


• Must be honest and trustworthy.
