Job Description - Automotive technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

Examine vehicles and diagnose problems

Develop and implement repair plans

Test and adjust parts and systems to meet manufacturer specifications

Use diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint areas of concern

Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs in our air-conditioned shop

Provide customer service and answer customer questions

Maintain records of repairs and services

Order necessary parts and supplies

Keep shop and work area clean and organized
