Automotive Technician - C Level

We are seeking a C-level technician with excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to grow into a Certified Kia Technician position. A C-level technician is defined as one who can satisfactorily make minor repairs, routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs to vehicles as well as assisting with any type of work encountered in servicing or repairing vehicles.  We are a busy dealership with a steady workflow, an experienced service team, and great location. Additionally, we offer the opportunity for very competitive income, benefits, and an enjoyable work environment. 

Compensation package starting at $22.00 per hour with a 4 / 10 schedule!

Job Description:

• Perform LOFs


• Multi-point inspections


• Tire rotations


• Battery tests


• Brake flush


• Transmission service


• Coolant system flush


• Mount and balance tires


• Brake replacement


• Engine tune-ups


• Road test vehicles


• Pre-delivery inspections


• Installs optional equipment specified by the customer or dealer


• Keeps shop area neat and clean, helps maintain dealership lot


• Shop equipment maintenance


• Shop cleanup


• Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner


• Reports any safety issues immediately to management


• Light repairs


• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 3 months of experience as an auto technician or express technician preferred, but not required


• Complete warranty certification within 90-days of start date


• Be willing to learn and take direction


• Have excellent customer service skills


• Be a team player


• At least 18 years of age


• Possess a valid driver's license and clean record
