Automotive Technician - Cadillac

Description of the role:

As a Service Technician at Frank Kent Motor Company in Fort Worth, Texas, you will be responsible for performing a variety of automotive services and repairs on Cadillac and various General Motors vehicles. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will diagnose and address any mechanical issues, conduct routine maintenance, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Performing diagnostic tests and repairs on GM vehicles


• Conducting routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections


• Communicating with customers to explain vehicle issues and provide recommendations for necessary repairs


• Utilizing computer diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve complex automotive problems


• Working closely with team members to efficiently and effectively complete service tasks


• Maintaining a clean and organized work area


• Adhering to all safety guidelines and company policies

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a service technician, specializing in General Motors vehicles


• ASE & Cadillac experience a plus 


• World Class Tech a plus


• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, components, and diagnostic tools


• Proficiency in performing routine maintenance services


• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills


• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and provide quality service


• Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment


• Valid driver's license
