Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs including oil changes, brake services, and tire rotations.


• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and software.


• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding needed repairs and vehicle status.


• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.


• Follow all safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.


• Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.


• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.


• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools effectively.


• ASE certification or equivalent preferred.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards


• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment - alignment equipment


• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems.


• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs


• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
