Are you an experienced automotive technician looking to grow your career in a professional, high-volume shop? Bob Bell Chevrolet in Baltimore is seeking a Main Shop Technician with strong skills in transmission repair and electric vehicles (EVs). What You’ll Do:

• Perform quality vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards


• Specialize in transmission and EV system repairs (preferred)


• Accurately complete repair orders with efficiency and attention to detail


• Test components and systems using advanced diagnostic tools


• Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding additional work needed and time estimates


• Execute manufacturer warranty repairs to specification


• Test-drive vehicles before and after service as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of technician experience required


• Transmission and/or EV experience preferred


• Maryland State Inspection License a plus


• GM-certified technicians encouraged to apply


• Solid skills in diagnostics, engine, electrical, and mechanical repair (B-level or higher)


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Valid driver’s license with a clean record


• Strong communication and customer service mindset


• Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude


• Ability to learn new technology and operate electronic diagnostic tools
