Modern Chevrolet of Winston-Salem is seeking an experienced GM Diesel Technician to join our team. We are looking for a technician with a strong GM background who is passionate about diagnostics, repairs, and delivering exceptional customer service.

GM Diesel Technician Responsibilities

● Diagnose, repair, and maintain GM diesel vehicles according to manufacturer standards

● Perform advanced engine, electrical, fuel system, drivability, and emissions diagnostics

● Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards

● Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs in accordance with dealership and factory guidelines

● Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts

● Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required

● Road test vehicles as necessary to verify repairs and diagnose concerns

● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

GM Diesel Technician Requirements

● Minimum of 3 years of GM technician experience required

● Diesel diagnostic and repair experience required

● GM experience is required

● GM certifications preferred

● Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills

● Valid driver's license required

● Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

● Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
