Job Summary
Under immediate supervision, is responsible for coordinating the maintenance and service repair of the company’s vehicle fleet. Exercises no supervision.

7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday
7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Saturday
Essential Job Functions
- Coordinates the maintenance and service repair of vehicle fleet, frequently lifting and carrying basic mechanic tools or equipment weighing 25-50 pounds.
- Inspects and performs pre-trip on vehicles daily to determine repair needs.
- Coordinates monthly preventative maintenance on assigned vehicles.
- Replaces vehicles, as needed.
- Coordinates rental vehicles, as needed
- Delivers and picks up vehicles for preventative maintenance and/or repair work.
- Updates and maintains Fleet database to ensure all records are updated completely, correctly, and in a timely manner.
- Provides daily reports on vehicle activity.
- Provides weekly reports of grounded vehicle and status
- Assists other departments to ensure goals are met.
- Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One (1) year of experience in fleet maintenance, or equivalent relatable experience.
- Valid Class "C" Driver's License.
- Applicants for this position must pass a DOT physical and DOT training course to be able to perform job functions on the company’s fleet.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in monitoring, tracking and coordinating the scheduling of vehicle maintenance.
- Experience using a computer and use of basic computer programs
- Experience operating CMV/ step vans
- Current DOT Medical Examiners Certificate (MEC)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of basic automotive repair and service procedures and techniques.
- Knowledge of Amazon Delivery Service Partner rules, regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Skill in recognizing automotive related problems.
- Skill in utilizing personal computers and associated software applications in the completion of assignments.
- Ability to organize and prioritize preventative maintenance and mechanical repair work.
- Ability to diagnose minor mechanical problems and defects.
- Ability to safely deliver and pick up vehicles for preventative maintenance and/or repair work.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and the general public.
- Ability to perform all the physical requirements of the position with or without accommodations.
- Working conditions are primarily outdoors and with exposure to rain or shine, noise and dangerous equipment and materials.
