Requirements for Automotive Technician/Mechanic

• 10+ years of proven automotive repair experience (dealership, national service chain, or independent)
• Root cause analysis and systematic troubleshooting instead of "parts swapping
• Ability to diagnose complex, intermittent faults (electrical, electronic, or mechanical)
• Advanced understanding of vehicle electronics, CAN bus systems
• Ability to interpret and test electrical wiring diagrams and schematics
• Ability to R&R timing chain/water pump assemblies effectively, efficiently, and with minimal oversight.

What You’ll Do As An Automotive Technician/Mechanic

• Handle a mix of jobs from brake and suspension work to drivability issues
• Repair, replace engines, transmissions, and differentials (no rebuilds)
• Perform accurate test drives and repair verification
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional workspace
• Work alongside a supportive shop foreman and an experienced tech team
